Mentions of asset classes, product categories or government schemes are general illustrations of how plans are commonly structured and are not recommendations or endorsements. How to find a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser

A SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) is licensed to give personalised investment advice and must act in your interest. When choosing one:

1. Check that they appear in SEBI's list of registered Investment Advisers on the SEBI website (sebi.gov.in, under the list of recognised intermediaries). Registration numbers start with "INA".

2. Confirm they are enrolled with the Investment Adviser Administration and Supervisory Body (BSE Administration and Supervision Ltd, BASL).

3. Ask how they are paid. RIAs charge you a fee within SEBI's limits and should not earn commissions on the products they recommend.

4. Expect a risk profile and suitability assessment, and a written agreement, before any advice.

5. Be wary of anyone who promises guaranteed or unusually high returns, or asks you to share passwords or OTPs. A registered adviser cannot guarantee returns.

6. If you have a complaint about a SEBI-registered adviser, you can raise it with the adviser first, then on SEBI's SCORES portal or the Smart ODR portal.

Privacy

The life plan and calculators run entirely in your browser. Everything you enter is stored only on your device, using your browser's local storage, and is never sent to us. Your numbers are never added to page links or web addresses, so they are not visible to anyone else or to the website's host. You can remove all of it at any time with Delete all my data on this device on the Saved plans page, or by clearing your browser data. We don't ask for your email, phone number, PAN or account details, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The website loads nothing from other companies: the typeface and all files come from this website, and a security setting on every page stops it connecting anywhere else. If you write to us, we use your message only to reply.

Some pages link to official websites such as the Income Tax Department, EPFO, PFRDA and SEBI for reference. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content.
