Detailed breakdown
How it's calculated

The goal cost is inflated to the year you need it. Your existing savings are grown at the expected return, and the SIP covers the remaining gap. Education and healthcare costs often rise faster than general inflation, so 8% to 10% is common for those goals.

Common questions

What if I already have enough?

If your savings are expected to grow past the goal's future cost, the SIP needed shows as zero.

Should I use a separate SIP for each goal?

Keeping goals separate makes it easier to see how much each one needs and when. Use the multi-goal planner to see all goals together.
